Hizb OGW Arrested in Ganderbal

The Jammu Kashmir police on Friday claimed they have arrested an over ground worker (OGW) affiliated with Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant outfit.

Police in a press briefing said that police acting on a specific information launched cordon and search operation at Lobar Mohalla Pati-Shalabug Ganderbal.

During the search operation Police arrested one OGW namely Nazir Ahmad Malik son of Abdul Khaliq Malik of Lobar Mohalla Shallbug Ganderbal affiliated with HM Militant outfit.

Police claimed that Nazir was  over ground worker of HM and involved in providing support to HM outfit and huge quantity of incriminating material was recovered from his possession.

A case has been registered in Police Station Ganderbal .
