August 22

The Chairman of Ummat e Islami and the Mirwaiz of South Kashmir, Qazi Ahmed Yasir today addressed people at Eid Gah in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) on the occasion of Eid ul Adha.

Mirwaiz Qazi Yasir in his speech called the dialogue a mere rhetoric and said that people of Kashmir are being used as a fodder to politics of BJP at the center.

He also said that people of Kashmir stand by the flood hit people of Kerala and announced that he will collect relief and donations for the people of Kerala.

“There are people in India who celebrate the death of Kashmiris, who rejoice when Kashmiri blood falls down, but we will show the world, we have been humane and are not enemies of a common Indian, even though we have been busy with protecting the special status of Jammu Kashmir, but we will make sure that we do our best to help the people of Kerala,” he said.

Mirwaiz Qazi Yasir said that Indian state should earlier the better understand that the Policy of ‘Jhumlebaazi’ will take them nowhere, “On one side Indians are killing Kashmiris and on the other they are speaking, but only speaking about love,” he said adding that hypocrisy can only lead to mere bloodshed.

He also paid tributes to the people killed in the last one year including Saddam Padder, Sameer Tiger, Yawar Gazi, Yawar (Khudwani), Faizan (Pulwama) and other Kashmiris who were killed in the last one year.
