Elderly Palestinian Man Loses Ability to Move after Israeli Court Directs his Family to “Self-Demolish” their Home

On Thursday, the Israeli authorities forced a 25-member Palestinian family to “self-demolish” it’s own 5-apartment home in Beit Hanina, Jerusalem.

After the demolition, almost 25 members of the ‘Khader’ family have become homeless.

As per QNN, the Khader family would’ve been made to pay high punitive fines for the Israeli municipality if they hadn’t demolish their home.

An elder member of the family, Abdullah Khader seemed shocked after the demolition of the house he’d lived in for years in the Beit Hanina town. His land has been claimed by the Hadassah Zionist Organization.

After the Israeli court decided that Abdullah had no right over his house, Abdullah lost his ability to move. He had a stroke as a result of the decision.
