On Monday, the Uttar Pradesh police said that a minor, a 15-year-old, girl from a village in Ballia district in Uttar Pradesh got pregnant after she was allegedly abducted and raped.
The police has said that the accused had kidnapped the minor girl in July with the help of his father, uncle, brother and took her to Delhi, adding that she was raped many times.
Some days ago, the family members of the accused, dropped her home and threatened to kill her in case she tells anyone about being raped, according to the complaint filed by her mother.
Her mother has filed a complaint with the police after the girl got pregnant. A case was registered against the accused, his father, uncle, and brother on Monday, under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Meanwhile, the girl has been sent to the district hospital for medical examination and the matter is being probed, police said.
