Massive Fire Breaks out in Army Camp in Kupwara

A Massive fire has engulfed Army camp located in the Machil Sector of North Kashmir’s frontier Kupwara District on Tuesday.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that fire tenders from various parts of the district have been rushed to the douse off the fire which is still spread inside the Army camp.

“Efforts are being made to bring the flames under control,” an Army official said.

There have been no reports of immediate casualties, neither has the cause of fire been ascertained yet, Three Armymen have sustained minor burn injuries.

A Local told The Kashmiriyat that massive blast sound are being heard inside the camp, which is a indication of the fact that explosives have caught fire inside the camp.
