After the killing of one Army soldiers, one of the two Army soldiers injured during the ongoing Poonch Encounter has succumbed to his injuries.
The area where the encounter broke out is part of a forest pocket that runs through Dehra Ki Gali where an encounter started on Monday morning in which five Army men lost their lives.
Officials said in Bhata Dhurian village of Poonch, located near Bhimber Gali Army installation, operation was launched on Thursday morning and teams of Army and police were conducting intensive searches in the area when the gunfight broke out in which one Army man was killed.
The authorities on the other hand have stopped vehicular traffic on Jammu-Poonch NHW near BG in Mendhar.
