Two Non-Locals Detained After Found Moving Near Army Camp in Jammu

The Indian Army arrested two Non-locals allegedly moving suspiciously in Jammu on Sunday.

The two are said to be Rohingyas, who have been identified as Abdul Amin son of Ahmed Noor resident of Narwal and Abdul Salim staying in Narwal at Purmandal Morh were apprehended on suspicious grounds.

The two Rohingyas possessed smartphones that had contacts from Pakistan and Myanmar nationals and were also actively involved in some suspicious WhatsApp group.

The two Rohingyas were held at 8:30 pm on October 17 by an Army unit in Kaluchak.

The Army later handed over the arrested men to Police Station Gangyal. The officials are carrying out the investigations.

Both of them are presently living at Jamaat Ali Plot, Narwal in Jammu.
