On Saturday, a tweet by the office of the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath said that their government has decided to rename the Faizabad railway station.
The tweet said that chief minister Yogi took the decision that the railway station will be called the Ayodhya Cantt railway station.
It is pertinent to mention that earlier in 2018, the Yogi Adityanath government had renamed Faizabad as Ayodhya.
The Yogi-led BJP government in Uttar Pradesh had also changed the name of Allahabad to Prayagraj and Mughalsarai railway junction as Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay junction.
