High alert has been sounded in South Kashmir post Seven relatives of Jammu Kashmir Policemen have been abducted by suspected Militants in South Kashmir.
Reports reaching The Kashmiriyat revealed that the gunmen on Thursday evening abducted Gowhar Ahmad, brother of a Deputy Superintendent of Police from Katapora, Kulgam,Zubair Ahmad, son of a policeman from Arwani area of Kulgam district; Sumar Ahmad Rather, son of a policeman from Yaripora, Kulgam, Faizan Ahmad, son of a policeman from Kharpora, Kulgam and Arif Ahmed, brother of a middle-rung police officer from Arwani.
Earlier on Thursday, gunmen had abducted abducted Nasir Ahmad, son of a policeman from Midoora Tral and on Wednesday Asif Ahmad, son of a local policeman Rafiq Ahmad Rather, from Pinglish village of Tral in Pulwama district had been kidnapped.
