One Militant Killed During Brief Encounter in Srinagar

An unidentified militant was killed during a brief encounter in the Harwan Dar bagh area of Srinagar district early on Sunday morning.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that earlier a cordon and search operation had been launched in this Srinagar area following an input about militant movement in the area.

During the cordon, exchange of fire took place. One Militant was killed during this brief exchange, they said.

As per Poice, the militant was an associate of Lashkar e Taiba and was a foreigner.
