The Militant killed early morning in the gunfight at Harwan area of Srinagar has been identified, Police said.
The Jammu Kashmir Police identified the slain as Saifullah alias Abu Khalid, Shawaz, a resident of Karachi Pakistan, affiliated with proscribed militant outfit LeT.
He infiltrated in 2016 & was active in the general area of Harwan & involved in several Militancy related crimes: the Police said.
The Police also said that three Pakistani militants have been killed in Srinagar City within 33days.
“They were involved in various crimes including attacks on Police/SFs & civilian killings. It shows that Pakistan is hell-bent to disturb peace in Valley especially in Srinagar City,” the IGP Kashmir said.
