Jammu Kashmir reported 6253 positive cases for covid-19 in the last 24 hours, while seven deaths have been reported across the region, officials said on Sunday.
An official speaking to The Kashmiriyat confirmed that 6253 cases were reported in the region in the last 24 hours- 1754 of these fresh cases were reported from the Jammu division and 4499 from Kashmir.
2493 patients recovered in Jammu Kashmir on Wednesday- 997 from Jammu Division and 1496 from Kashmir Division.
Giving district-wise details of the fresh cases, the officials said that Srinagar reported 1464 cases, Baramulla 564, Budgam 590, Pulwama 150, Kupwara 344, Anantnag 578, Bandipora 261, Ganderbal 320, Kulgam 174, Shopian 54.
In Jammu, the Jammu district recorded 1075 cases, Udhampur 114, Rajouri 35, Kathua 83, Samba 47, Poonch 10, Ramban 176. Reasi reported 48 cases.
In Chenab valley, Doda reported 140 cases and 26 persons tested positive for Covid 19 in Kishtwar.
