Early morning on Sunday, a dead body of an 18 year old was recovered from power canal at central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that youth namely Bilal Ahmad Jagal s/o Mohammed Ismail Jagal aged about 18 years, had gone missing since after 2 pm on Saturday from his home.
The locals told The Kashmiriyat that the youth jumped into water reservoir of power house Kangan located at Barnbugh.
The police reached the spot and recovered the body, an official said, adding that the body has been sent to Trauma Hospital, Kangan for postmortem.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered in the matter and investigation has been taken up.
