Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is all set to launch its first store in Anantnag township of South Kashmir.
While Jammu already has two outlets, KFC opened its first store in Kashmir valley in Srinagar in 2020. The fried chicken outlet was opened near SP Higher Secondary, MA road.
Official Sources speaking to The Kashmiriyat confirmed the development and said that the store is coming shortly to Anantnag. “Its first store in Anantnag will be launched at KP road near Khanabal point,” the official said.

An official from the Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, however, denied having any information on the development.

Meanwhile, eyewitnesses said that a hoarding of KFC has come up near the Khanabal point with the reading, ‘Coming soon.’
