DDC Member Shabir Ahmad Dar visited newly commissioned 6.3 MVA Receiving Station at Ara Khoshipora Anantnag.
DDC member Larkipora Shabir Ahmad Dar, Executive Engineer PDD Javiad Ahmad Tak, JE Shiraaz Ahmad and concerned PDD employees were present on the occasion.
DDC Shabir Ahmad congratulated the locals on getting the Receiving Station and added that the long pending demand of the local people has been fulfilled.
DDC Member and the general public expressed their gratitude towards the district administration and power department and said that the Receiving Station will provide a major relief to the people of Ara Koshipora Palpora Damhal and Hakura in getting a better power supply.
Meanwhile talking with The Kashmiriyat local residents Rayees Ahmad Itoo and Bashir Ahmad Wani said that long pending demand has been fulfilled and hopefully it will give relief for locals and end power vows in the area.
They also thanked employees of PDD including technical team who worked tirelessly day night to make receiving station functional.
They also thanked DC Anantnag and higher authorities of PDD for making the station functional and fulfilling long demand of the area.
