Major fire erupts in Bijhama forest area in north Kashmir

Fire erupted in the forest area of Bijhama in the Uri area of Baramulla district on Sunday afternoon.

According to a local news agency, Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that fire erupted in compartment number 09 of the Bijhama forest area.

They said that a team of police has reached to the spot to douse off the flames and fire was brought under control.

Meanwhile, an official said that cause of fire was being ascertained.
