A teenage girl, who was injured in a grenade attack in Srinagar’s busy Hari Singh High street area succumbed to her injuries on Monday morning at the SMHS hospital in Srinagar.
An official confirming the death said that Rafiya Jan aged 18, a daughter of Nazir Ahmed Tinda, who is a resident of Srinagar’s Hazratbal area succumbed to her injuries after being injured in the explosion on Sunday afternoon.
“Rafiya succumbed to her injuries at around 8: 00 AM,” he said.
Pertinently, one more person aged 70 had died of the blast on Sunday. The deceased was from the Nowhatta area of Srinagar.
More than 30 persons were wounded when a hand grenade exploded at Hari Singh High Street market on Sunday afternoon.
