The dead body of a youth was found in Seer e Hamdan area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir on Wednesday m0rning.
A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that the locals from Lone Mohalla area in Anantnag’s Seeer spotted a dead body in the area and informed the Police.
The Police rushed to the spot and took possession of the body.
“Upon verification, the deceased was identified as Basit Hameed Dar son of Abdul Hameed Dar, a reisdent of Rampora Mattan. He was at his maternal house in the Seer e Hamdan area for a past few days,” the official said.
He said that Police is investigating the matter.
