Probe ordered against 2 doctors over bribery after viral video in Rajouri

Administration in Rajouri on Sunday ordered an inquiry following video on Social Media in which a complainant accuses two doctors of Government Medical College Rajouri of demanding bribe for issuance of disability certificate.

“A video is viral on Social Media wherein a complainant has alleged that two doctors of Govt. Medical College Rajouri have demanded bribe for issuance of disability certificate. He has also alleged that the same set of doctors have taken bribe in the past also for issuance of disabilities certificates,” reads an order by Vikas Kundal (IAS) Deputy Commissioner Rajouri.

“In order to ascertain the facts, Pawn Kumar Parihar, KAS Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajouri is hereby appointed as enquiry officer,” the order, a copy of which is with GNS, adding, “The enquiry officer shall submit a factual report along with recommendations within a week’s time.” (GNS)
