The district administration in Kulgam Thursday asked the Kashmiri Pandits employed in various departments to “approach the nodal officer Kulgam” with their grievances.
In an official communique which The Kashmiriyat has a possession of, the Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam has appointed Mr. Zahid Sajad, as the Nodal officer for District Kulgam and said that all the concerned employees shall approach the concerned officer for the registration of their grievance(s), if any.
“The Nodal officer shall brief the undersigned on daily basis about the grievances and redressal thereof,” the order read.
The district has appointed the Nodal officer for the redressal of grievances of Migrant, ALC, SC, Prime Minister Package, and Non-Prime Minister Package employees posted in the south Kashmir district.
Pertinently, in the wake of the recent targeted killings, the Kashmiri Pandit community has been demanding a transfer to safer places stating that the admin has failed to address the issue of their security.
