A woman died of an electric shock in Khansahib area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday morning.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a woman identified as Shafeeqa Bano, a resident of Hokhlitri village in Khan Sahib received an electric shock while repairing an electric heater at her residence on Sunday morning.
She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her dead.
The Jammu Kashmir Police has taken cognizance of the matter.
