A man from Srinagar has been arrested on Monday for allegedly providing scooty to active militant, Police said.
Official Sources said that Umer Muhtar Naqeeb son of Bashir Ahmed, a resident of Natipora in Srinagar was arrested for providing a second-hand scooty to an active militant named Moomin Gulzar on 27 July, 2022.
Pertinently, the scooty was recovered along with arms/ammunition/explosives/clothes/other incriminating material during an encounter in Nowhatta.
