Militancy case: SIA raids multiple residences in J-K

State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Wednesday raided multiple residences in Kashmir valley in a case FIR no 4/2022 registered at SIA Jammu.

Sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that sleuths of the investigating agency with the assistance of the local police and the CRPF carried out multiple raids in the union territory in an already registered case.

In Kulgam, the sleuths of state agency raided the residence of arrested cop identified as Head Constable Mohammad Ramzan Reshi @ Rizwan son of Abdul Majid near DPO Kulgam. Earlier Rizwan was arrested by SIA Jammu.

SIA, Jammu raided the house of Abu Bakar, S/o Akhtar Hussain resident of Vidhata Nagar, Bathindi, Jammu. The said raid has been conducted with supscion that Abu Bakar has links with militant funding case.

Further in the house where raid is going on only two sisters of Abu Bakar is available and his father and mother has been gone to Kistwar at thier native Village.

Further it is gathered that Abu Bakar is currently staying at Dubai and he is there in Dubai for the last 5/6 years. He is unmarried. The father of the Abu Bakar namely Akhtar Hussain is originally resident of Kishtwar and is staying at given adress for the last 15/20 years. Akhtar Hussain was Government employees and was retired from CAPD Department as TSO.

Similarly, raids are being conducted at multiple locations. (KDC)
