Police arrested four accused and recovered stolen cash and gold from them in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, Local news agency Kashmir News Trust reported.
The theft incident had occurred during the intervening night of 18 and 19 this month in the two houses belonging to Ashiq Ahmad Mir and Muzafar Ahmad Famda, both residents of Kullan area of Gund Kangan.
After registration of case and subsequent investigation by police station Gund, police arrested four accused out of which three hail from Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Police identified the accused as Fayaz Ahmad Ganie of Soibug, Budgam, Saleem Malik of Khag Budgam, Sameer Lone of Kokar Bagh Budgam and Imtayaz Ahmad Guroo of Gundroshan, Rabitar at present Parimpora Band Srinagar. (KNT)
