Residents of Kakapora Pulwama suffer in absence of basic facilities

The residents of Hanjibal village in Kakapora village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district are suffering in absence of basic facilities.

The residents of the area told Kashmir News Apex-(KNA) that condition of the road connecting village to different areas is dilapidated due to which they are suffering.

Besides road there is no facility of potable water in the area, due to which people of the area are forced to drink contaminated water, they said.

We are drinking a contaminated water due to which there are chances that water brone diseases can break out any time, said Zaid Ahmad a local resident.

He said that road leading from Kakapora road is in dilapidated condition and even worse is the condition of inner roads.

Locals said that they have been suffering in absence of basic facilities since decades but no attention is given towards them.

We have brought this issue in notice of higher ups several times and official are assuring that they will get better facilities soon but nothing happens on ground, they said.

They requested higher ups to look into the matter at an earliest so that locals can heave a sigh of relief. (KNA)
