‘Jaish militant’s house demolition’: Officials release statement

Officials have released an official statement on Saturday regarding the demolition of the house of Jaish e Muhammad commander, Ashiq Negroo whose house was demolished on Saturday morning by district admin.

In its press release, district admin Pulwama has said, today District Administration Pulwama retrieved 01 Kanal of State land at New Colony Rajpora Pulwama which was under the illegal occupation of Ashiq Hussain Nangroo son of Gh Mohd Nangroo resident of New Colony Rajpora currently settled in Pakistan (hardcore militant of proscribed outfit JeM).

The said milotants had raised the two-storied concrete structure on the said land a few years ago when he was an active militant associate in the area and had illegally occupied the said land by force, read the press release.

It is pertinent to mention that JeM terrorist Ashiq Negroo is involved in many crimes and presently manages his activities across the border, the admin said.

Although, the said structure was impounded in a case registered against him under the unlawful activities prevention act as proceeds of militancy by Pulwama Police.

Meanwhile, District Administration and Police Pulwama demolished the said two-storied structure and retrieved the illegally occupied land from the encroacher, officials said.
