Weeks after the release of BBC’s documentary on Narendra Modi, teams of officials from the Income Tax Department are conducting searches at the BBC office in Delhi and Mumbai.
According to media reports, the BBC office has been sealed and phones of all employees have been confiscated and the employees have been asked to go home.
The searches come weeks after BBC released a two-part documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi – ‘India: The Modi Question.’
