For the first time, the Jammu Kashmir Police has added three cutting-edge weapon systems to its arsenal, including the made-in-India “Zen ShootEdge” corner shotgun, to bolster its ability to combat various security and counterterrorism challenges in the region, PTI reported.
They have also included German MP-5 rifles and the Israeli-made Tavor X95 rifles.
According to officials, members of the force are receiving training with the recently introduced Tavor X-95 and MP-5 rifles as well as the “Zen ShootEdge” pistol, which allows shooting around corners and over the top of walls without exposing the user.
