Government school in Kulgam renamed after slain Policeman

The Jammu Kashmir administration renamed the Government middle school Razloo in Kulgam after slain Police Constable Mohammad Shafi Dar.

In a press release, the admin  said, in order to honour the supreme sacrifice offered by the Valiant Constable Mohammad Shafi Dar Son of Mohammad Shaban Dar, a resident of Razloo, Kund in Kulgam who was killed while fighting with militants during an encounter at Bomai Sopore, Baramulla on 16.11.2016, the Government Middle school Razloo is dedicated in the name of Martyr Constable Mohammad Shafi Dar.

On the occasion of renaming, the ZEO Devsar, Naib Tehsildar Kund, SHO Kund with other officers and officials of district administration, Kulgam police and family of the slain were present.

Speaking on the occasion, SHO Kund conveyed that the deceased constable was very helpful and popular among his colleagues. “He was very courageous and brave policeman,” SHO Kund said.
