The Jammu Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have arrests two eve teasers for harrassing a girl at Zanana Park Khawajabagh in Baramulla district of north Kashmir.
In a press release received by The Kashmiriyat, Police said that, Police Station Baramullla received written complaint from one person (name withheld) stating that two persons namely Aqib Salam Bhat @ Ponty and Yasir Ahmad Bhat, both residents of Fatehpora Baramulla molested one girl (name withheld) at Zanana Park Khawajabagh and fled from the spot after the commission of crime.
Acting upon the complaint, Police registered a case FIR under relevant sections in Police Station Baramulla and investigation was started, Police said۔
Baramulla Police led by Inspector Vilayat Hussain SHO PS Baramulla under the supervision of Altaf Ahmad-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Baramulla after strenuous efforts both Eve teasers were arrested and were taken into custody immediately.
Further investigation, of the case is going on، Police said۔
