The Jammu Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a man for raping a minor girl in the Safakadal area of Srinagar.
An official said that One Mohd Iqbal Sheikh (46 years) presently staying in Pamposh Colony, Srinagar arrested for raping a minor 15 year old girl.
He said that the accused is relative of child.
In this regard an FIR no 92/2023 has been registered under sections 352,376,506 IPC & 3/4 POCSO act at PS safakadal.
