Timely redressal of issues can save future of thousands, say JKSSB aspirants

Aspirants of Jammu Kashmir Service Selection Board on Wednesday welcomed the early hearing of the JKSSB scam case listed for September 18, 2023. The new date of the hearing is August 28, 2023.

In a press release issued to The Kashmiriyat, candidates said, The recent move of JKSSB, in which they have filed for the early hearing of the case that was listed for August 28, 2023, after being preponed from September 18, 2023, is a welcome step and is being accordingly welcomed by all the sections of aspirants of JKSSB.

In our last release, we affirmed our demand for the release of the exam calendar and the conclusion of the court case. This attempt by JKSSB for an early hearing aligns with our set of demands, which were discussed earlier when the JKSSB Aspirants delegate met JKSSB officials at their respective offices. It affirms that the government is serious about ending this vicious cycle of halted recruitment.

The conclusion of the present case, which has held hostage the whole recruitment process, will help in furthering the cause of aggrieved aspirants in J&K.

Also, the results of JKPSI and JE-Civil that have been withheld for the last 8 months will be released after the present case is concluded. Thus, it is apparent that the timely redressal of all the issues that directly affect the aspirants can be dismissed by the conclusion of the present case, as it will enable JKSSB to release the results of JKPSI & JE-Civil, initiate the recruitment process, and conclude it at the earliest possible time.

On behalf of all the aspirants in j-K, we thank JKSSB for taking up the necessary legal remedies and employing all the legal options available to them, so that the exam calendar and withheld result of JKPSI & JE-Civil be released, thus absolving aspirants from these times of uncertainty.
