The Pulwama District of South Kashmir has shut down for the seventh consecutive amid a ban on Mobile internet services in this South Kashmir area.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a Coordination Committee in Pulwama has called for peaceful protest today after Friday prayers and asked people to march towards Sirnoo.
The shutdown is being observed against the recent civilian killings where seven civilians were killed when Forces opened fire on protesters in Sirnoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.
The coordination Committee Pulwama that had called for shutdown includes District Traders federation, Clerics, Bar Association, fruit and vegetable association and transporters from the District.
Meanwhile people in Pulwama including in Muran, Ruhmoo and other belts of the Pulwama District to offer Friday congregational prayers.
