Police trace out Kulgam missing man in Jammu

A 36-year-old man missing for the last five days from Kulgam district in south Kashmir’s Kulgam has been traced at Gummat Bazar in Jammu.

An official told told The Kashmiriyat that Younis Ahmad Beig (36) son of Late Abdul Rehman Beig, a resident of Akhran Mirbazar area of Kulgam went missing after leaving his home on November 1.

Following this, the family has filed a missing report in police post Mirbazar in this regard.

Younis, a driver by profession, was found in Jammu after the strenuous efforts of Kulgam police in command of SHO Mirbazar Toser Ahmad Khan.

“The operation to trace out the missing person was conducted under the supervision of SSP Kulgam Sahil Sarangal and other officers,” they added.

The man was later on handed over to his family members after the due procedure followed by the police.
