Three injured in road accident at Benhama Bypass

In a tragic road accident on the Benhama bypass, three individuals sustained injuries earlier today.

The incident involved a collision between a Tavera and a motorcycle, resulting in significant harm to the individuals involved.

The Tavera driver, identified as Owais Ahmad Mir, son of Mohd Maqbool Mir from Banahama, and his wife, Serat Jan, were among those injured in the collision. Additionally, Aijaz Ah Shaikh from Shaikhpora, Baramulla, who was riding the bike, suffered critical injuries.

The bike involved in the collision bore the registration number JK01W 4861, while the Tavera carried the registration number JK01R 4509.

Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene and provided immediate medical assistance to the injured individuals.

The severity of their injuries necessitated prompt attention, and they were subsequently transported to the nearest medical facility for further treatment.

The exact cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained, and authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.

Local law enforcement has urged all commuters to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations to prevent such unfortunate incidents.
