An army trooper died of a cardiac arrest in Machil sector in Kupwara district on Wednesday evening, officials said.
The officials informed news agency Kashmir Scroll that an army man identified as Veer Naik fell unconscious while on duty.
“The soldier was taken to health facility, where the doctors declared him as brought dead on arrival, due to cardiac arrest”, the officials said further. (KS)
