Indian Army Organizes Free Medical Camp in Baramulla

The 13 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army on Monday organized a medical camp at Khusharpora area in Shahgund of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Khusharpora is a remote North Kashmir village that lacks basic necessities like proper housing, electricity, water Supply and medical facilities and due to the recent snowfall in the valley the access to these villages have been snapped

“The medical camp organized by the Army was a sincere and dedicated effort to reach out to  the needy people of the village and provide them medical assistance,” an official of 13 RR told The Kashmiriyat.

He further added that at least 200 persons including women, children and old were given free medicines and preliminary medical assistance along with tips on health and hygiene including prevention of cold related problems.

he medical camp was welcomed by the locals of the area.
