A tragic incident occurred in Kupwara, where two individuals were found dead and three others were hospitalized after falling into a well.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Wednesday, five persons fell into a well while cleaning it in Satboin Dardpora area of Kupwara.
As the news spread, locals rushed to spot and a rescue operation was swiftly launched.
Despite strenuous efforts, two of the individuals, identified as Farid Ahmad Khoja and Bashir Ahmad Khoja, were declared dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital.
The remaining three, Qasim ud Din,Abdul Hameed, and Safeer Ahmad are currently undergoing medical treatment.
