In anticipation of the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Yatra, the administration has announced the imposition of certain traffic restrictions on various routes. These measures will be effective from June 28, 2024, to August 19, 2024.
As per news agency Kashmir Scroll, Starting today, June 27, 2024, the traffic department will issue special traffic advisories on a daily basis.
These advisories will include detailed instructions, guidelines, and a list of do’s and don’ts for the public.
Both locals and visitors, including tourists and yatris, are urged to adhere strictly to these instructions to prevent unnecessary inconvenience and to ensure smooth travel.
Travelers are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance, taking into consideration the advisories to avoid any disruptions
