‘Will avenge bloodshed, dismantle terror ecosystem in Jammu Kashmir’: LG Sinha

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha vowed that every drop of innocent blood spilled in the valley would be avenged, as he addressed the Border Security Force (BSF) passing-out parade at Humhama.

He emphasized the government’s commitment to dismantling the terror ecosystem in the region.

“Unfortunately, we have a neighbor that, despite its own struggles with poverty and hunger, continues to support militancy and narcotics trafficking in Jammu Kashmir,” Sinha said, referring to Pakistan’s role in ongoing unrest.

Citing recent attacks in Ganderbal and Baramulla, where soldiers, civilians, and non-local laborers were killed, Sinha added, “Every drop of blood shed will be avenged by our security forces.”

He reiterated the government’s goal of uprooting terrorism and creating a peaceful environment for citizens, adding that the BSF plays a vital role in preventing infiltration and safeguarding borders. “We are committed to utilizing all available capabilities to dismantle the terrorism ecosystem,” he said.

Sinha also highlighted the importance of strengthening the anti-terror grid through coordinated efforts of the BSF, Army, police, and other agencies.
