A student was injured after being attacked at SP College Bund in Srinagar today.
Hospital sources at SMHS Hospital confirmed to Kashmir News Trust that the victim, identified as Muhammad Moomin, a resident of Nai Sarak Srinagar, was brought to the hospital with a head injury inflicted by a sharp object.
Hospital sources added that Moomin’s condition is stable and receiving treatment.
Prima facie it seems the student was attacked with a knife after an altercation between two groups.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack. [KNT]
