Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing BJP workers at the party headquarters in New Delhi after their significant win in the Maharashtra elections, reiterated that Article 370 would never be reinstated in Jammu Kashmir.
PM Modi dismissed concerns raised by Congress and other political parties about the potential return of Article 370, stating firmly, “Let me make it clear—Article 370 will never come back.”
He also celebrated the BJP’s victory in Maharashtra, crediting it to the party’s commitment to development, good governance, and social justice.
He added that the results were a rejection of deceit and falsehood, underscoring the nation’s desire for progress.
Furthermore, Modi highlighted the BJP’s strong showing in by-elections across states such as Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar, reflecting widespread public support for the party’s development agenda.
