About 100 Israeli Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque Complex in Jerusalem

On Thursday, almost a hundred Israeli settlers broke into the courtyard of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the protection of the Israeli forces, in the occupied Jerusalem.

The settlers enter through the Damascus Gate. The Palestinians call it the Bab al-Amoud Gate. The Israeli settlers perform Talmudic prayers in the mosque courtyard to provoke the Palestinian worshippers.

Time and again, the Palestinian religious authorities have objected and warned against the incursions into the mosque, which provoke the worshippers at the mosque. The settlers have been walking into the mosque complex under the protection of the forces since 2003.

The Israeli forces have attacked and assaulted Palestinian worshippers using grenades, rubber bullets and pepper gas.
