Aerial firing and intense tear smoke shelling was used upon protesters in Harmain area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District on Monday afternoon.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that massive stone throwing clashes erupted after forces launched a CASO in the Harmain area.

Hundreds of youth hit the streets shouting pro Freedom and Pro Islam slogans throwing stones on troopers who entered the village to conduct the Cordon and Search operation there.
The Troopers fired in the air to disperse the protesters, however the clashes were going on when this report was filed.
