Ahead of crucial Lok Sabha elections scheduled for the District of Shopian and Pulwama for Anantnag Lok Sabha seat for tomorrow, the polling parties have been attacked in various areas of the Tral hamlet in Pulwama District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that youth hurled stones on vehicles of the polling staff including the Government Forces in Lorgam, Main town area and Lorgam area of Tral in South Kashmir and broke window panes of several vehicles.
Youth in large numbers hit the streets of the Tral main town area as soon as the polling staff reached the area and attacked them with stones.
A Police official upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat said that one person has been injured in the stone throwing incident who is being treated at a hospital in the area.
