The runway at Srinagar airport has been cleared of snow for the takeoff and landing of flights which was affected due to the overnight snowfall.
Officials in ‘Project Beacon’ said that about one feet of snow had accumulated on the airport runway due to which flights were halted.
Beacon officials said that its team through their strenuous efforts ensured zero accumulation on the main runway.
They said that the airport has been cleared off for traffic after more than 24 hours.
