Al-Umar Mujahideen, a militant outfit on Wednesday said that the armed struggle was the only solution to resolve the Kashmir issue.
According to tele-statement issued by Al-Umar chief, Mushtaq Zargar said that “the India occupied Jammu Kashmir forcibly in the year 1947 and are committing atrocities on people. The Kashmir issue can only be resolved through armed struggle.”
He also asked the candidates who participated in recent elections to resign within 40 days, saying “we have the list of candidates who participated in recent elections held in Jammu and Kashmir. We warn them to resign within 40 days.”
“We also warn the informers to seek forgiveness for their doings,” he said.
