All the Three Militants Killed in Kulgam Gunfight had Joined Militancy in 2018

Thousands of people reached Kulgam and Shopian Districts to attend the funeral of three Militants killed in the encounter that triggered early morning on Sunday in Laroo area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District.

Locals told The Kashmiriyat that people in large numbers including women shouting high pitched pro independence and pro Militancy slogans reached the natives of slain Militants to attend their funeral prayers.

Sources said that Militants reached Awahatoo in Kulgam at the native of Zubair Lone and fired shots in the air as a mark of respect to their slain colleague.

Zubair Ahmed Lone was the son of Farooq Ahmad Lone, a resident of Kulgam and was affiliated with Militant outfit Jaish e Muhammad, he was active since 26 April 2018.

Thousands of people thronged Arwani locality to attend the funeral of second Militant killed in the gunfight who was identified as Yazil Makroo son of Mushtaq Ahmed Makroo.

The 23 year old Yazil who was a resident of Arwani Area in South Kashmir was pursuing graduation before he joined Jaish e Muhammad group in June this year.

Locals from Arwani told The Kashmiriyat that Yazil had been missing for the few days before his photo carrying an AK 47 went viral over social networking websites.

Gloom descended over the Wangam skies in Shopian when the body of slain Militant Shahid ul Islam reached his native, people poured onto the streets to mourn his death.

Shahid ul Islam Son of Abdul Rashid Tantray a resident of Wangam area in South Kashmir’s Shopian District, Shahid had left home for prayers on September 02, after which he disappeared.

The family looked for him everywhere and on September 07, his photo appeared on the social networking with him announcing his entry into the militant outfit Jaish e Muhammad.
