Altaf Ahmed Dar Alias Kaczroo and Umer Rashid have been identified as two Militants killed in the gunfight that erupted at Muniwar locality of Islamabad (anantnag) in South Kashmir.
An Army official told The Kashmiriyat that the slain Militants have been identified as Altaf Kaczroo of hawoora and Umer Rashid of Khudwani and their bodies have been handed over to Jammu Kashmir Police who will hand it over to their families.

Two Militants had been killed in the gunfight that raged early morning after Forces including 1 RR of Indian Army, 96 BN of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the Muniwar area.
Two Militant were killed in the Anti Militancy operation.

Umar is a resident of Khudwani in South Kashmir while Altaf Dar is a resident of Hawoora in Kulgam District.
The operation has been called off, the army official told The Kashmiriyat.
