Amid communication blockade, Israel targets more hospitals in Gaza, number of casualties unknown

Israeli airstrikes targeted Al-Shifa Hospital and the Indonesian Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip late Friday, as reported by Al-Aqsa TV.

No casualty information was available due to tye ongoing communication blockade in the Gaza strip.

The airstrikes also hit the al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

Earlier on Thursday, the families of two doctors working at the Indonesia Hospital in Gaza were killed in an Israeli air raid.

The NGO funding the facility reported this incident as part of an increase in strikes targeting the relatives of Palestinian doctors.

The Israeli army escalated its air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7, involving rocket launches and fighters entering Israeli towns.

Israel responded with a sustained campaign of air and artillery strikes, preparing for a potential ground offensive.
